Financial Aid
Hampshire College has made a significant commitment to helping students and their families meet the cost of a Hampshire education. Twenty-one million dollars have been dedicated to fund our grant program. All financial aid awarded is based on demonstrated need using an institutional methodology employed by many private colleges and universities. Financial Need is defined as the difference between the Cost of Attendance and the Expected Family Contribution (EFC). To estimate your family's EFC, use the College Board's Financial Aid Calculator. Be sure to select Institutional Methodology (IM) when choosing an EFC formula.
